SUMMARY:SME Tour of Bausch + Lomb Vision Care
DESCRIPTION:The Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) Tampa Bay\, Florida Suncoast Chapter 159 would like to extend an invitation to our tour of Bausch & Lomb Vision Care in Clearwater\, FL. The tour will take place on Thursday\, September 27th from 6:00-7:30 PM. \nAll tour participants must adhere to the following visitor dress code for the manufacturing areas: \n– Shorts are prohibited.\n– Legs must be covered with hosiery when not covered by slacks.\n– Proper Footwear: Non-skid sole\, fully closed shoe. Heels should be no more than 2” high and at least 1” wide at the base.\n– Food\, drink\, gum\, and candy are prohibited.\n– Make-up is not permitted in manufacturing areas.\n– Cameras/Camera Phones are not allowed to be used in the manufacturing areas. \nHere is our tour agenda: \n6:00 – 6:10 Check-In / Networking\n6:10 – 6:20 Welcome / Announcements\n6:20 – 6:40 B+L Presentation\n6:40 – 7:20 Facility Tour\n7:20 – 7:30 Wrap-Up / Closing Remarks \nHigh School Students\, College Students\, and Educators who become SME Members can attend our chapter tours free!
