DESCRIPTION:Made in Florida Movie\nand Manufacturing Discussion Panel  \nThe Florida Advanced Technological Education Center (FLATE) would like to invite you to our Manufacturing Day 2015 viewing of the Made in Florida movie and Manufacturing Discussion Panel from 5:30-7:00 PM on Thursday\, October 15th\, 2015. \nThis event is being hosted by Middleton High School\, the Pre-Collegiate STEM Academy for Hillsborough County Public Schools.  Tampa Bay area students\, parents\, educators\, and business leaders are encouraged to participate and promote student interest in science\, technology\, engineering and math (STEM) careers in the manufacturing industry. \nSome of the products that you use and benefit from everyday are Made in Florida. Come along on an exciting journey and explore the manufacturing that is happening throughout the state and learn about some of the awesome high-tech equipment and techniques that individuals just like you get to use everyday to create their company’s trademark products. You may even find that you recognize many of the unique and useful products that are made right in your backyard! \nOur Manufacturing Discussion Panel will start immediately following the movie. SUMMARY:Manufacturing Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:To celebrate Mastercut Tool Corp.’s 30th anniversary\, Mastercut and The Shaluly Foundation\, Inc. will host a 5K Fun Run / Walk. All proceeds from the event will be donated to aspiring and deserving engineering students through the Upper Tampa Bay Education Foundation and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. \nIf you wish to make an additional donation to this worthy cause\, please send your check made payable to The Shaluly Foundation\, Inc. and mail to Mastercut Tool Corp. at 965 Harbor Lake Drive in Safety Harbor\, FL 34695. We thank you in advance for your generous support and all donations are tax deductible. \nDay of event registration is available from 7:00 am to 7:30 am at Marina Park\, located at 110 Veterans Lane in Safety Harbor\, FL. \nAfter enjoying a beautiful sunrise at 7:30 am\, we will leave Marina Park at 7:45 am for an invigorating walk or run\, which will take us south along the palm tree- lined Pinellas Trail to Cooper’s Bayou Park. Enjoy breathtaking views of Old Tampa Bay\, while returning along the same route back to Marina Park. \nSeveral water stations will be avalable along the course. \nJoin us at approximately 9:00 am at Marina Park for exciting prizes\, awards and refreshments!
