DESCRIPTION:SME Tampa Bay\n2017 Student Scholarship Awards Event \nThe Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) Tampa Bay\, Florida Suncoast Chapter 159 would like to extend an invitation to our upcoming “2017 Student Scholarship Awards Event.” \n \nThis event will take place on Thursday\, June 29\, 2017 from 6:00-7:30 PM at the Regency Park Branch Library in New Port Richey\, FL.  \nOur guest speaker is Mr. Chuck Stephens of the Pasco County Library Cooperative. Mr. Stephens will speaking about the Pasco libraries STEM programs\, and the growth of FIRST teams. \nWe will announce the winners of the 2017 High School and College Student scholarship awards. \nA robotics demonstration will be conducted by Team Duct Tape robotics club students. \nWe will also enjoy a buffet dinner. Here is our agenda: \n5:30 – 6:00 Check-In / Networking\n6:00 – 6:10 Welcome / Announcements\n6:10 – 6:40 Buffet Dinner\n6:40 – 7:00 STEM Programs Presentation \n7:00 – 7:20 Robotics Demonstration \n7:20 – 7:30 Honors & Awards  \nWe would like to thank our members and sponsors for making these scholarships possible.
